The Cronulla Sharks Photography Club is an interclub of Cronulla-Sharks Leagues Club and was formed in 1966 to promote the interests of amateur photographers in the Sutherland Shire. Sutherland Shire Historical Society

The Sutherland Shire Historical Society was established in 1966 to foster an interest in Sutherland Shire History. The Society is open to all people of all ages who have an interest in history and society, would like to discover something new and enjoy meeting with other people to listen, to learn and to contribute.The Sutherland Shire Historical Society has a local history Museum in Sutherland. It contains a wealth of artefacts, photos and documents recording the history of the Shire, from Aboriginal heritage, through Captain Cook and white settlement, wars and local industry. School and community groups can visit midweek by appointment at 23 East Parade, Sutherland (in the Sutherland Memorial School of Arts building, across the road from Sutherland Railway Station).
