Local Arts Groups are eligible to become members of The Friends of Hazelhurst. Membership affords you voting rights at the AGM, inclusion on our website and advertising in our newsletter and e-news.

Continuum Art Society

Established in 1982, the Continuum Art Society is a non profit organisation. Their aim is to further the love of art using all mediums and to encourage art development and discussion by regular workshops and demonstrations. See their website

Cronulla Sharks Photography Club

The Cronulla Sharks Photography Club is an interclub of Cronulla-Sharks Leagues Club and was formed in 1966 to promote the interests of amateur photographers in the Sutherland Shire. In order to be a member of the Camera Club a person must be a financial member of the Leagues Club, however visitors are most welcome. See their website.

Port Hacking Potters

Sutherland Shire Historical Society

 

The Sutherland Shire Historical Society was established in 1966 to foster an interest in Sutherland Shire History. The Society is open to all people of all ages who have an interest in history and society, would like to discover something new and enjoy meeting with other people to listen, to learn and to contribute.The Sutherland Shire Historical Society has a local history Museum in Sutherland. It contains a wealth of artefacts, photos and documents recording the history of the Shire, from Aboriginal heritage, through Captain Cook and white settlement, wars and local industry. School and community groups can visit midweek by appointment at 23 East Parade, Sutherland (in the Sutherland Memorial School of Arts building, across the road from Sutherland Railway Station). Open Saturday mornings from 9.00am to 1.00pm.  See their website

Southern Printmakers

The Southern Printmakers Association is a group of talented printmakers based in the southern suburbs of Sydney. Our members consist of a diverse range of artists from as far as the Blue Mountains in the west, through to St. George, Sutherland and down into the Illawarra. See their website.
